BODY MEMORY (2024)

This series looks at the process of aging, highlighting the way in which the addition of new layers — both literal and metaphorical — can reshape our understanding of the past and present.

I envision these sculptures as the beginning of visual dialogue that reconsiders the stories we tell about ourselves and makes room for a visual mapping of our evolving narratives — leaving room for the complex language of feelings, the acknowledgement of mistakes, and the cacophony of conflicting ideas.
